electricityBANNU: District Police Officer Bannu, Sajjad Khan has assured PESCO officials of all out cooperation in netting consumers using illegal electricity in the district besides assisting the company in recovery of their outstanding arrears.

He said this while talking to a delegation of PESCO officials led by XEN Jamaluddin Dawar here Monday.

The delegation apprised the DPO about the power shortfall in the country primarily due to gap between supply and demand.

Moreover, they added that the power outages were caused by illegal use of electricity besides the consumers do not clear their outstanding dues.

The DPO assured all out support and cooperation on his behalf to the power company saying that the police would assist the company in netting power stealers.
