Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq gives tributes to batsman Younis Khan and said his performance was exemplary for the youngsters.
According to local media reports Inzamam said, “Younis has played a lot of cricket with me and he is no doubt a great cricketer. I still remember his brilliant innings of 267 against India at Bangalore”.
Inzamam said his biggest plus point was that despite all the politics and intrigues in the Pakistan team he remained focused on his game. Inzamam also advised Younis to carry on playing and become the first Pakistani player to complete 10,000 Test runs.
Younis Khan by his performances has established himself as a world class player. Recently, Pakistan had played a wonderful series in Sri Lanka, the former captain Inzamam said he would love to see Pakistan and India launch a new cricket chapter by playing in December this year."Regardless of where we play we should play India on regular basis," he concluded.
