ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday expressed deep sorrow over the death of former president of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum.
In his condolence message, the President said Sardar Abdul Qayyum was among the founders of Kashmir's freedom movement and his services would be remembered forever.
The President said Sardar Abdul Qayyum also made great contribution for the democratic struggle and resolution of national crises in Pakistan.
He said the death of Sardar Qayyum had left a void that could never be filled.
He prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and for the grant of patience to the family.
