KARACHI: Two ships MV "IOANTHI" carrying 19,506 metric tons and MV "Hyderabad" carrying 35,000 metric tons imported urea are scheduled to reach Port Qasim and Gwadar Port on Monday and second on 27th, respectively.

The shipment arriving by MV "IOANTHI" relates to TCP's Tender awarded to Multicommerce LLC USA.

Whereas, the other vessel MV "Hyderabad" is carrying Urea being supplied by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), under a Saudi Fund for Development credit facility, according to a spokesman of Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) here on Sunday.

This quantity is in addition to the 50,000 MT urea already supplied by SABIC during July, 2011 under the same arrangement.

The total quantity of urea imported by TCP for Kharif 2011, so far, works out to about 180,000 Metric Tons.

In addition to above, under the special instructions of the governemnt, TCP has issued another tender for immediate import of 150,000 MT Urea which is scheduled to open on Monday, the 22nd August, 2011 requiring shipments at early dates.
