 KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday, August 19, carrying container at QICT & LPG at EVTL.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 43 percent at the Port where a total of six ships namely M.V Afamia, M.V Tycoon-II, M.V Glory, M.V Mahmat Saka, M.T Pacific Energy, M.T Long Champ are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, furnace Oil, LPG and iron ore during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 76073 tonnes, comprising 59075 tonne imports and 16998 tonne exports, containers (TEUs) 1100 was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.T Pacific Energy, M.T Long Champ sailed on Saturday morning.

No ship is expected to take berth on Sunday, August 20.
