imageISLAMABAD: Defence analyst Air Marshal (Retd) Shahid Latif said that completion of Pak-China Economic Corridor will create new opportunities of employment.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that Chinese President XI Jinping has signed several agreements with Pakistan to overcome energy crisis. The production of energy is quite significant for the development of industrial sector of the country. The traders of the country are very happy over the visit of Chinese president.

Pak-China Economic Corridor will help Pakistan to access Central Asian states and Europe." We need more access to foreign markets to increase our exports. It is quite necessary for the development of the country that we should have good relations with our neighbours."

He said Pakistan and China also actively collaborate in defense sector as well. China has indicated to increase cooperation with Pakistan in civil nuclear energy. China has already set up Chashma nuclear power plant and it will further help in setting up more nuclear plants for energy production.
