imageLAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that all out measures were being taken for the effective implementation of national action plan against terrorism.

Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (N), here on Sunday, he said that Counter Terrorism Force has been set up in the province while vigilance committees were being established at union council level.

He said that the whole nation was united for elimination of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism while intolerance and extremism will be rooted out from the country.

Pakistan will be get rid of terrorists who caused a great loss to national economy and the country, he added.

He said that coordinated strategy has been adopted through mutual consultation for eliminating terrorism and the national action plan collectively evolved by the national leadership will greatly help in this regard.

The chief minister said that necessary steps were being taken for the protection of life and property of citizens while laws have been made more strict through necessary legislation.

People of Pakistan will win the war against terrorism and the enemies of peace will meet their logical end, he added.
