Actor/filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has sung the first duet of his career with actress-singer Priyanka Chopra for his upcoming film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.
According to India Today, Farhan confirms that he has sung the first duet of his career for his sister's forthcoming film. Farhan has only crooned solo songs in ‘Rock On’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. He said, “I don't see myself giving voice to other actors. It just doesn't work for me”.
Priyanka Chopra is known to give some of her incredible performances, her latest movie ‘Mary Kom’ wherein she has impressed everyone with her boxer avatar. Priyanka Chopra has also been applauded for her singles, ‘Exotic’ with Pitbull, ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ and ’In My City’. In Bollywood, female actors are most eager to give voice to their own movies like Alia Bhatt in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Highway’ and Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Ek Villain’.
‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is a multi-starrer movie starring Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film will hit theatres in June this year.
