ISLAMABAD: Eminent analysts have said that the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to Bahrain will open up new avenues for bilateral cooperation.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan's Nuqta-e Nazar program, analyst Dr. Nazir Hussain said, "This is a timely visit of PM to Bahrain to overcome energy shortage.
He said that "Bahraini investors have been invited by PM to invest in different development projects in Pakistan... Bahrain is a vast market for Pakistani man power. Skilled Pakistani workers are in great numbers working in Bahrain and contributing in maximizing the revenues in billions of dollars per year. We should have to avail further opportunities in Bahrain to provide more skilled workers. Pakistan could play a vital role in gulf countries in strengthening bilateral relations."
Analyst Zafar Mehmood Sheikh said Pakistani craftsmen had provided training to Arab countries and helped in their development. Bahrain still has expectations from Pakistan. The labors of Pakistan have experience and ability to work 50 times more than workers of other countries. Bahrain has been progressing in departments of shipping, banking and health and need skilled workers.
He added Pakistan could get benefit in foreign exchange by sending experienced and skilled workers there. Government of Bahrain wants to make Bahrain as Trade hub like Hong Kong and Pakistan could support it in this regard.
