ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's annual inflation rate fell to 3.96 percent in November from 5.82 percent in October, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
"The drop is due to falling fuel prices which has caused the prices of commodities and transport fares to go down," said Shaukat Zaman, the deputy director of the bureau.
On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 0.51 percent in November. The average annual inflation rate for July through November was 6.45 percent.
