PESHAWAR: The disbursement of amount announced by the provincial government for the assistance of internally displaced people (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency continued and 460.15 million rupees were disbursed among 57,518 families till November 21.
According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) here Tuesday, under Easar e Pakthunkhwa Program, 57,518 displaced families of North Waziristan Agency have received their cash payment of first installment at the rate of Rs8000 successfully till November 21 and Rs460. 15 million were disbursed among them.
All the registered families of North Waziristan would be provided with Rs23,000 (Ramzan package Rs5000 and Rs3000 monthly house rent).
As many as 30, 974 IDPs in Bannu, 6968 in Peshawar, 3318 in Pabbi, 2117 in Charsadda, 1572 in Shabqadar, 1204 in Karak, 4015 in Lakki Marwat and 1012 through ATM are among those beneficiaries, who received their money.
