The ‘Maleficent’ star Angelina Jolie has bought a rare ‘1952 Patek Philippe platinum watch’ for her husband Brat Pitt, which is worth approximately 2million pounds.
According to media reports, the actress's romantic gesture came to light when the wedding gift was taken to a small shop by a friend to be inscribed with the words ‘To Roly from Nessa’.
Roly and Nessa are characters. The newlywed couple plays these characters in their upcoming movie ‘By the Sea’, which is currently shooting in Malta and is being directed by Jolie. George Farrugia of Dolindo jewelers, on the neighboring island of Gozo, affirmed that he inscribed the watch for the couple.
Previously, Jolie had gifted a heart-shape island to Pitt on his fiftieth birthday in 2013.
