imageISLAMABAD: The 3rd International Energy, Gas, Oil and Power Exhibition & Conference, which was scheduled from September 18 to September 20 has now been delayed for one month due to the devastating floods in Punjab.

In press statement here Thursday, FAKT Exhibitions CEO Saleem Khan Tanoli said that due to the floods in Punjab and ongoing political Dharnas in Islamabad the event has been delayed for a month and now will be held from October 15-17 at the Lahore Expo Center.

He said, "Pakistan is currently facing a difficult time. On one side the ongoing Dharna's in Islamabad have paralyzed the capital for almost a month, while on the other hand the floods in Punjab have caused a catastrophe and blocked roads in rural Punjab."

EGO Pakistan- Energy, Oil, Gas & Power Exhibition Pakistan, is the benchmark event in the energy sector, which brings the energy resources and decision makers on one platform.

Apart from the conventional sources of energy generation like oil & gas, the exhibition also capitalizes on the non-conventional renewable energy sources that are abundantly available in Pakistan like wind, solar, biomass, and coal.
