LOWER DIR: Operation Commander of Maidan, Dir Lower, Let. Colonel Zeshah Fayyaz has said that after ensuring a peaceful atmosphere in Maidan, now it was our top priority and obligation to ensure in time and quality completion of ongoing development projects.
Addressing a gathering at Maidan tehsil, Let. Colonel Fayyaz said a model basic health unit (BHU) would be constructed at Maidan that would have all basic facilities of medical cover.
He talked in detail about the importance of education in human life and said our progress depended on acquiring quality education.
However he regretted that some of the educational institutions were destroyed at the hands of miscreant but expressed the hope that these institutions would be rebuilt and the schooling system would be put back on track. He also vowed to resolve the shortage of teaching staff at schools.
Regarding provision of health facilities in the, Let Colonel Fayyaz said, army would help provide basic health necessities in hospitals at Maidan adding that it was also our collective responsibilities to point out and bring into notice of concerned people the shortcomings of this sector.
