imageISLAMABAD: Director Provincial Disaster Management Authority Farman Khilji said that an amount of over 90 million rupees was distributed among 11,363 IDPs families.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that the distribution of cash assistance among IDPs from North Waziristan Agency under Esaar Programme of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was in full swing.

He said the assistance was given to IDPs in Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Hangu, Dera Ismail Khan, Kohat, Peshawar, Charsadda, Swat, Abbottabad and Mansehra.

He said that Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has so far provided medical treatment to fourteen thousand and thirty-five internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bannu.

Free mobile health units of the society also provided free medical facilities to twelve thousand six hundred IDPs in different Union Councils, he said.
