ISLAMABAD: Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Turkish Development Minister Judet Yilmaz in Ankara on Tuesday discussed ways of expading Tehran-Ankara cooperation in various domains, trade and commerce in particular.
The two sides in the meeting made necessary arrangements for the Monday visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Turkey, during which the two neighbours will ink protocols on cultural, political and economic cooperation, IRNA news Agency Reported.
Vaezi said based on the already reached agreements, the two countries should raise volume of mutual transactions to $30 billion by 2015.
Yilmaz said Vaezi's Turkey visit provided an important opportunity for the two sides to follow up recently inked agreements.
He said his country favors broader economic cooperation with Iran.
