imageISLAMABAD: Legendary Pakistani batsman Muhammad Yousuf has said team Pakistan should strengthen their batting with seven batsmen which is their main problem instead of packing with bowlers.

Talking to private news channel, he said that Allah has blessed Pakistan with immense talent which was evident with the brilliant show of Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti in last ODI.

He insisted that off-break bowler Saeed Ajmal, who is world class bowler should be retained, however he also said that inconsistent bowlers should be dropped to make way for batsman.

He reiterated for inclusion of Asad Shafiq in the team. He suggested that captain Misbah should bat at number three, Asad Shafiq at four, Sohaib Maqsood at five and Umar Akmal at 6th spot.

He said struggling batting duo of Muhammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed should take rest and play domestic cricket and work on their faulty technique before returning to play international cricket for Pakistan.

"Its time for Hafeez and Nasir to take some rest in the series against South Africa and work on their technique and regain form before playing for Pakistan," he commented.

He remarked that we should not over celebrate things and should not forget our problems and grey areas in batting in recent times.

He also advised Misbah to show courage by coming at number three spot instead of at number five position.
