ISLAMABAD: The power shortfall in the country again surged to 3,600 MW on Tuesday as the total generation was recorded as 12,700 MW against the demand of 16,300 MW at 1400 hours.
According to daily data released by National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC), the hydel generation stood at 4,775 MW, Thermal 1,870 and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) 5,055 MW.
