imageBUENOS AIRES: Argentina's closing soy prices and trends on Wednesday:

* In the Rosario grains market, soy closed at 1,850-1,870 pesos ($324-$328) per tonne, lower than 1,927 pesos on Tuesday. The Argentine trades were pressured by losses in US soybean prices.

* Soybean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade went down due to forecasts of more humid weather in parts of the Midwestern United States.

* Rosario soy for delivery in May 2014, which is quoted in US dollars, closed at $288 per tonne, down from between $290 and $292 on Tuesday.

* In the Argentine port of Quequen soy fell 40 pesos to 1,800 pesos per tonne, and in Bahia Blanca it closed at 1,870 pesos, 57 pesos less than the day before.

* Petrochemical workers reached an agreement over wages with company owners on Wednesday, avoiding a strike in Rosario next week.
