ISLAMABAD: Newly elected president of the country is facing some trouble as a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan against Mamnoon Hussain over concealing his political identity during the presidential elections.
"Mamnoon Hussain has concealed his political affiliation during the submission of the papers for the president elections of the country," the petitioner, Zahoor Mehdi, said in his petition to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Zahoor Mehdi was a candidate in the presidential elections; however, he was rejected by the election commission of Pakistan.
