LONDON: Europe's main stock markets closed higher on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares adding 0.81 percent to finish at 6,055.75 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 put on 0.83 percent to end at 4,061.91 points, and in Frankfurt the DAX gained 0.53 percent at 7,217.02 points.
