police-pakistan-day 400KARACHI: As many as 14 policemen from District Larkana completed an IT course, a police statement said here on Saturday.


It said that the course was conducted at the Central Command and Control Centre located at the Central Police Office (CPO) here.

 

The Additional Inspector General CID, Ghulam Shabbir Shaikh, distributed certificates among the successful participants of the course.

 

It was pointed out that the IT courses have been introduced for all the districts in the province on the directive of Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari.

 

The selected policemen are imparted IT training for ensuring the registration of computerised FIRs at all the police stations under computer networking.

 

This, it was further pointed out, was aimed at enhancing the standard of policing and providing certain facilities to the people as well.
