Following a violent clash between Indian and Chinese army soldiers in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, Indian Union minister Ramdas Athawale demanded that restaurants selling chinese food to be banned.

The minister also appealed the nation to boycott Chinese food.

Earlier, in a tweet, Athawale said, "China is a country that betrays. India should boycott all products that are made in China. All restaurants and hotels that sell Chinese food in India should be closed down."

Meanwhile, Jan Adhikar Party Chief Pappu Yadav climbed a JCB machine today in Patna to blacken banner of a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer.

Since the clash between the two forces, anti-China protests have been staged in various parts of the country to demand a boycott of Chinese products.
