On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,702. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 9.819 billion and the number of lots traded 11,890.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 5.077 billion followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.628 billion, gold PKR 1.281 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.068 billion, DJ PKR 288.636 million, silver PKR 206.132 million, platinum PKR 174.642 million, copper PKR 33.432 million, SP500 PKR 32.170 million, Brent crude oil PKR 15.104 million and natural gas PKR 13.499 million.
In agriculture commodities 8 lots of wheat valued at PKR 24.956 million and 11 lots of cotton valued at PKR 5.670 million were traded.
