On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5.35 billion as compared to PKR 2.21 billion reported on Friday. The number of lots traded also increased to 30 million from 3.6 million. PMEX Commodity Index increased by 0.60 percent and closed at 2,715. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.89 billion. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 1.43 billion) and silver (PKR 29 million).
