ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday said he was unaware of changing of Chief Minister Sindh and he came to know this news through media.
In a statement, the leader of opposition said he came to know through media that Finance Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has replaced Qaim Ali Shah as the chief minister.
He termed Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan's objection to posting of member of Election Commission of Pakistan from Punjab as baseless.
He said he had taken senior member of PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi into confidence over Justice Altaf's name, however PTI has raised objection over Justice Tariq Khosa's name.
"Justice Altaf's name was at third position in the list presented by the opposition parties," he said.
