Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Chaudhry Nouraiz Shakoor on Monday said that government would deal with an iron hand with those involved in abduction of five SNGPL employees.
The minister also directed both the national gas companies to make fool proof security arrangements to avoid any such reoccurrence in future.
He was talking to Managing Director (MD), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company Limited (SNGPL), Rashid Lone who briefed him about the efforts being made by his company in collaboration with the law enforcing agencies and local administration for the recovery of the abductees.
The MD informed that all out efforts were being made to recover the kindapped employees while travelling between Ghotki and Sukkur districts and update information was being monitored.
He informed that a senior officer of SNGPL was already stationed at the abducted place and was in constant touch with the local administration in the ongoing recovery operation.
The minister said the government would not allow miscreants to impede the conducive investment climate in the country and would award exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in such heinous crimes.
