ISLAMABAD: Acting President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Shaukat Ahmed Saturday appealed the nation to remember Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) on the occasion of Eid ul Fitar.
In a message here on Saturday, the FPCCI president felicitated the nation on the occasion of Eid ul Fitar urging to support IDPs financially.
Shaukat Ahmed said that IDPs rendered great sacrifices for the country during the operation "Zarb e Azb" and the nation should support them financially.
He said "As we know, the spirit of Ramazan is tolerance and one should help the downtrodden people of the society".
It was also our duty to help the less privileged people of the society, he added.
He urged the people to bestow their Fitra to the IDPs.
