vegetableoil2ROTTERDAM: The European vegetable oils market was mostly firmer on Monday on strong crush data from the US National Oilseed Processors Association and a weak dollar as players wound down business ahead of the year's end.

* "Asking prices were a touch firmer, but both sides of the market were showing little enthusiasm to do business and limited activity mostly to position evening and seeking clues for the new year," one broker said.

* At 1700 GMT CBOT soyoil futures were between 0.26 and 0.44 cents per lb down in a technical correction on Friday's sharp gains following the NOPA crush data.

* EU soyoil was offered between 12 and 13 euros up from Friday following Friday's rally in Chicago soyoil but asking prices were hardly tested.

* US soybean processors crushed 157.308 million bushels in November, in line with trade estimates of 157.343 million and the largest monthly crush in nearly three years, NOPA said on Friday.

* Offerings for EU rapeoil were unchanged and three euros per tonne down from Friday, with a weaker dollar, which weighs on euro-priced products, and lower rapeseed futures. Feb/April EU rapeoil changed hands between 915 and 911 euros per tonne fob exmill, down three euros from Friday, and May/July traded between 917 and 914 euros.

* EU sunoil traded at $1,250 a tonne extank for April/June, with asking prices around $5 up from Friday on the back of the weak dollar, which supports dollar-priced products.

* Palm oil was offered between $2.50 a tonne down and $7.50 a tonne per tonne up from Friday, underpinned by the weak dollar, after Malaysian palm oil futures closed between 1 and 30 ringgit per tonne up, tracking Friday's CBOT soyoil. Gains were limited by disappointing exports for the first 15 days of December.

* April/June RBD palm olein traded $5 a tonne up from Friday between $830 and $840 a tonne fob Malaysia and July/Sept changed hands at $845, up $7.50.

* Lauric oils were offered between $5 a tonne down and $5 up from Friday mostly following the trend in rival palm oil after Jan/Feb coconut oil fetched $775 a tonne cif Rotterdam. No deals were seen in palmkernel oil.
