imageOne of the highest grossing movies of 2015 ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ will be back soon with its sequel. Universal Studios has announced its two sequels expected to release in 2017 and 2018.

The first look of Mr Grey has also arrived online and with that it can be easily predicted that the upcoming sequels will be ‘more of a thriller’. When asked about the sequel on Wednesday, Universal Pictures Chairman Donna Langley said, it will be ‘more of a thriller’ which won’t be much of a surprise to those who have read the book.

According to foreign media reports, Universal studios announced that sequels to the British-American erotic film titled ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ are scheduled to debut on February 10, 2017 and February 9, 2018, respectively. The sequels will continue the story of lead characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, however, Sam Taylor-Johnson will not take the director’s seat this time.

The film based on EL James novel, made $500 million worldwide.
