Khalil becomes first Pakistani to enter Tokyo Olympics 2020

Pakistani shooter Mohammed Khalil Akhtar has become the first Pakistani sportsman to make into the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

According to details, Khalil Akhtar has got the chance to represent his country in the Tokyo Olympics, the sportsman said that he wanted to win a medal for the country at the Olympics. Khalil made it to the Olympics thanks to his outstanding performance at the World Shooting Cup, which is considered as qualifying round for the Olympics.

The Punjab-born Akhtar is the first Pakistani to make into the tournament on the basis of quota. Khalil would represent Pakistan at the 25m rapid fire pistol event.

Pakistan Rifle Shooting Association Secretary Razi Ahmad Khan says getting the Olympic quota in shooting is a great success, Pakistan can win medals at Tokyo Olympics.
