FC rescues several families from flood hit areas in Balochistan

QUETTA: Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) on Thursday rescued several families from rain water in respective rural areas of Nasirabad and Sibi and shifted them to safe places.

Frontier Corps’s Sibi Scouts took part in rescue operation and shifted the affected people to safe places. The warm clothes were also distributed among flood victims, said press release issued here.

The FC also set up free medical camp for ensuring provision of healthcare facilities to victims on emergency bases.

Commandant Sibi Scouts Colonel Waqar Chaudhry visited rain affected areas and met with flood victims. He also assured the flood victims that FC personnel would assist them in difficult time.

People appreciated efforts of FC on provision of facilities.
