As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) submitted on Monday a motion in Sindh Assembly against Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned that his party can overthrow the government in just a week.

PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman submitted the motion in the assembly, which demands discussion of the Joint Investigation Team's (JIT) report regarding the fake accounts case, along with the resignation of Sindh CM. Speaking to the media, Zaman warned the PPP that a strong protest would be held if the party did not accept the motion.

However, speaking to the media today, PPP chairman said that the CM Sindh will not be changed. He added that the JIT was just a means of targeting the Sindh government. Bilawal also warned that he if former president Asif Ali Zardari gives them the permission or even a signal, the PPP will overthrow PTI's government within one week.

Money laundering case: CJP displeased over 172 names being placed on ECL

Ever since Sindh CM's name was revealed in the JIT report, the government has been demanding his resignation. In its report after investigation, the JIT has found 172 people allegedly involved in money laundering through fake accounts case. Most of these people belong from the PPP, including CM, Bilawal and Zardari.

The government then placed the names of all people involved in the fake accounts case on the Exit Control List. However, during the hearing on Monday CJP expressed annoyance over placing 172 names on ECL and ordered the federal cabinet to review the decision.
