ISLAMABAD: The Awami National Party has nominated President Pakhtun Students Feredation (Punjab) Nadeem Sarwar as its candidate to contest upcoming elections from NA 53, Islamabad.

Talking to media persons here Monday, Nadeem Sarwar said contesting elections on the symbol of Lantern was honour for him. He would try his best to win the seat for his party.

A large number of Pakhtun were living in the suburbs of Islamabad.

They have been neglected due to absence of their representatives. Pakhtun students were being denied admissions in educational institutions of federal capital.

He said ANP is the only party raising voice of Pakhtuns and middle class.
