Latest innings of Shahid Afridi’s nephew prove cricket runs in their blood
It seems like the passion for cricket runs in the blood of Afridi family because after Pakistan’s superstar all rounder Shahid Afridi, his nephew Irfan Khan Afridi is making the name for himself in world cricket.
As per Uganda’a news website monitor.co.ug, Mohammad Irfan Afridi, who plays for Uganda and is the nephew of Shahid, hit 51 off 17 balls on Wednesday versus Vanautu.

Afridi, lived up to his reputation as a game winner with a flat-track bully display and not only took his team out of trouble but blew away hard-fighting Vanuatu by 81 runs. They were playing during the Round III of matches at the ongoing International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cricket League (WCL) Division IV at the scenic Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur.
The Pakistan-born neutralised Ugandan reached his half century off just 14 balls, which is considered among the fastest in ICC Associate Nations Cricket.
Afridi, a true all-rounder also claimed his international career best bowling figures of 6 for 23 in 10 overs, a couple of days back.
