WASHINGTON: US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle extended good wishes Monday to the world's 1.57 billion Muslims ahead of the Eid al-Azha religious holiday. Earlier, around two million white-robed Muslims converged at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabi as the hajj, the world's largest annual pilgrimage, peaked at the site of the Prophet Mohammed's last sermon. "Michelle and I extend our greetings for a happy Eid al-Azha to Muslims worldwide and wish safe travels to those performing Hajj," Obama said in a statement.
