KARACHI: No ship arrived at Port Qasim on January 4, said a shipping activity report issued here on Saturday by Port Qasim Authority (PQA).
Berth occupancy was maintained at 43% at the Port on Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.V KPS-I, Alican Bey Powership, M.V Marine King, M.V Hansa Liberty, M.T Stolt Sun, M.T Genune Galaxy, M.V Panamax Blessing are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, palm oil, canola seed.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 52649 tonnes comprising 33419 tonnes import 19230 tonnes export and (849) Tues was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Hansa Liberty, M.T Genuene Galaxy sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Lantau Arrow at QICT M.T Bunga Allium at LCT Dong Hai Jin 7001-Dredger, arrive on January 5, as per arrival schedule.
