PESCO seeks consumers help for energy conservation

PESHAWAR: Keeping in view the present power situation, Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has requested consumers to conserve maximum energy.

We can overcome the current energy crisis only with the help of consumers' cooperation. PESCO is taking all possible steps to overcome the energy crisis, however, public is requested to conserve energy especially during the peak hours i.e from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

The domestic consumers are also requested to use energy savers and tube lights instead of bulbs and must iron their clothes in day time so that energy could be saved.

Likewise, power theft also creates power shortage and power distribution system is hence severely over loaded.

Tube well operators are required to operate tube wells in accordance with loadshedding schedule, so that customers do not face difficulties in getting water.
