Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours, where two ships carrying crude oil and edible oil were allotted berth at FOTCO Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal during last 24 hours, Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and LPG also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 30% at the Port on Tuesday where total number of three ships namely Sai Eyernity, Arietis and Chem Road Vega are currently occupying berths to load offload wheat, crude oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 32848 tonnes comprising 31264 tonnes imports and 1584 tonnes exports were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
