Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Two Ships arrived at Port to load/offload containers at Qict on Thursday.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 64% at the Port on Friday where a total of Nine ships namely M.V Karadeniz - Powership, M.V DN Vatan, M.V Leo Pard-B, M.V Maha Deepa, M.V Hansa Liberty, M.V New Dehli Express, M,V Beagle-III, M.V Phutai-19, M.V Double Prosperity are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, wheat, steel scrap, was handled at Port last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation, were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 40186 tonnes comprising 19702 tonnes import, 20484 tonnes export, 1423 (Tues) was handled at Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Hansa Liberty, M.V New Dehli Express sailed on Saturday morning.

M.V MSC Jade, M.V Lantau Arrow at Qict and M.T Al Salam-II at FOTCO arrive on Firday.
