KARACHI: Four Ships carrying containers, edible oil and chemical were allotted berth at Port Qasim International Containers Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal during last 24 hours.
Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers and diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 55% at the Port Qasim on Friday where total number of six namely Dubai Express, City of Beijing, Infinite Wisdom, M.V Ana Dorothea, Harsanadi and STX Forte are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, rice, urea, chemical and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 39743 tonnes comprising 24637 tonnes imports and 15106 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1183 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
