KARACHI: The Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Kazi Abdul Muktadir, will inaugurate the first ever ATM installed at Karachi Press Club to facilitate the media community.
An announcement on Thursday said that the inaugural ceremony will be held on Oct 9.
It said that the Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Summit Bank Asif Ali will be guest of honour.
This Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facility has been installed by Summit Bank Limited to facilitate over 1,500 members of KPC as well as over 5,000 media men working in Karachi.
Summit Bank's ATM will facilitate the media fraternity round the clock ensuring secured cash withdrawals.
The governing body of Karachi Press Club, realizing the difficulties of its members, approached different banks to install the ATM.
With the inauguration of this ATM at KPC, media community would be able to carry out their cash transactions in a secure and controlled environment, it was further stated.
