Shipping activity at Port Qasim

imaKARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim carrying containers at QICT and to discharge furnace oil at FOTCO on September 15.

Berth occupancy was maintained at 28% at the Saturday where a total of four ships namely M.V Anayan Naree, M.T Harsanadi, M.T Genie, M.V MSC Jade are currently occupying berths to load/offload corn, containers, furnace oil, MEG was handled at Port Qasim last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume of 86,004 tonnes comprising 60,450 tonnes imports and 25,554 tonnes exports and 2,392 (Tues) was handled at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

M.V Sonoma arrive at FAP on September 16.
