silkbank KARACHI: Silkbank is making expeditious moves to achieve its vision of excellence in premier banking and the introduction of an innovative, premium credit card product in the Pakistan is yet another move to live up to its vision.

This would strengthen customer trust by providing better value, service and this credit card, being a zero-APR card in Pakistan, would serve as an epitome of innovative and these attributes would directly reciprocate with the Bank's mission.

This was stated by the President and CEO of Silkbank, Azmat Tarin.

A statement here on Monday said that he further added that the card is a `commitment from the management to grow and thrive over the years'.

It said that the Silkbank Credit Card is chip-based and its EMV compliance makes it more secure that a non-chip card.

The card holder could ask the merchant to `dip the chip' to further ensure security of transactions rather than swiping it. However, the card could also be swiped.

The Business Head Credit Cards, Syed Salman Hasan, stated that `Silkbank Credit Card card provides value to the credit-worthy/financially-disciplined customers who have demonstrated good credit histories in the market. Another modern feature is that the cardholders will be offered a cash back programme which would enable them to earn cash anywhere, anytime'.
