KARACHI: Five ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday, August 17 carrying containers at QICT, diesel oil at FOTCO & wheat at FAP & palm oil at LCT.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 71% at the Port on Monday where a total of nine ships namely M.V Dubai express, M.V Msc Clementtina, M.V Msc Jemima, M,V Lantau Arrow, M.V Ahmed Arab, M.T Genuine Galaxy, M.T Al Salam-II, M.V BBC Emsland, M.V K-Coral, M.V Genius Mariners are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement. urea containers, diesel oil, project cargo, wheat was handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 86323 tonnes comprising 74538 tonnes import 137B5 tonnes export 2738 (TUES) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V BBC Emsland sailed on Friday afternoon. M.V Lantau Arrow sailed on Saturday morning.
