PESHAWAR: The PESCO Detection Teams headed by Chief Engineer Customer Services Pervaiz Akhtar Shah has disconnected ten illegal connections in the jurisdiction of SDO Pabbi-1 sub division and lodged proper FIRs against thepower stealers in the respective police stations.
Chief Engineer Customer Services PESCO along with the SDO and staff of Pabbi-1 sub-division checked different areas of Pubbi Railway station, Commercial area and adjacent villages, during which the detection teams found 10 direct connections.
The illegal connections were forthwith were disconnected and FIRs were lodged against the persons involved in power pilferage in the concerned Police Station.
Similarly the detection teams also disconnected 15 connections of defaulters and recovered Rs.250,000 from the defaulters. Drive against illegal use of electricity has been launched on the directives of CEO PESCO.
Chief Executive PESCO also appealed to the public to avoid illegal use of electricity and remove all direct hooks immediately otherwise strict action will be taken against the culprits.
The PESCO also sought co-operation to overcome loadshedding and ensured uninterrupted power supply to all the consumers.
