KARACHI: Katherine Jackson finally breaks her silence after losing custody of Michael’s children. Katherine Jackson says that she wasn’t kidnapped by her children because they “would not do that.”
The 82-year-old family matriarch was reported missing at the weekend, though Jermaine Jackson later insisted that she was “fine” and had gone to “de-stress” with her daughter Rebbie in Arizona.
The 82-year-old confirmed that she intends to return to Los Angles from Arizona, telling ABC News in a pre-prepared statement, “I am devastated that while I’ve been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I’m coming home”.
”There are rumours going around about me that I have been kidnapped. I am here today to let everybody to know that I am good and fine. My children would never do anything to me like that.”
Katherine says that she felt like taking a “short vacation” and “one reason I didn’t call is I just gave up my phone and I didn’t want to have any phone calls while I was there.”
“I am devastated that while I’ve been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I’m coming home,” she added.
Katherine also explained that her assistant had been in contact with her grandson Prince.
