QUETTA: Transporters bodies of Balochistan have welcomed the government's move to reduce the prices of petroleum products and said it would give impetus to economic activities in the country.
All Balochistan Bus Federation president Haji Juma Badeni talking to APP on Saturday described reduction in the petroleum prices, a great relief to the people on the part of the government and said it would help check upward spiraling trend in the prices of essential commodities in the country.
He said the cut in prices of the petroleum products would ultimately help reduce not only public transport fares but also give relief to transporters as well. Attaullah Kakar of All Balochistan Truck Association termed the decrease in the prices of petroleum products a sigh of great relief for the masses.
