KARACHI: A complete shutterdown strike was observed in the city against extortion and lawlessness, the media reported on Wednesday.
Petrol pumps, CNG stations were closed and most of the educational institutions were also closed.
Public transport was thin, however private cars, rickshaws and taxis were seen in the metropolis.
Earlier, unidentified gunmen shot dead the brother of MQM former MPA Shakir Ali.
