BRATISLAVA: Slovakia sold 179.2 million euros ($223.4 million) worth of 4.625 percent state bonds due in January 2017 at an auction on Monday, the finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) said.
The bid/cover ratio was 1.12 in what was the paper's second domestic tranche, compared with 1.59 in the previous sale in May.
The euro zone country sold 1 billion euros of the maturity in January in a syndicated issue.
ARDAL sold 138 million euros worth of 4.35 percent coupon state bonds due Oct. 2025 at an earlier auction on Monday.
